This is the GREAT news that we get to tell students! God wants their friendship and is seeking them out! We are encouraged by the incredible summer that we've had as we see students respond to God's friendship. Out of this great summer, we look forward to a great Fall, full of great events and relationships pointing towards this friendship with God! Northminster Presbyterian's Student Ministry has been looking at who we are and looking for ways that we can build solid friendships with your student in order to show them the love of Christ. We are committed to providing quality programming built on Christ-centered adult to teen relationships. It is our desire to see your teenager engaged in a powerful way to the presence of God, energized by God's Spirit, emboldened by the community of faith in the church, equipped with the tools to grow in their understanding of Faith and how it relates to our culture, and to be empowered to go out and give God's love to those surrounding them. Our motto is "Real Friendships. Real Life." We want to provide relational experiences as we journey together towards Christ.
We are committed to our Church's mission statement: "Called to transform lives for Christ, our Lord and Savior". We also want to affirm our desire to be "family friendly" in our planning. We have attempted to make our Student Ministry calendar balanced in it's scheduling, not too much and not too little, in an effort to not overload a student or their family...yet enough to make an impact on students as God seeks them out. Our ministry is committed to providing the best resources for your teen to grow spiritually. Our best resource is our adult leaders, jr. leaders, and adult Student Ministries committee. These folks are the ones that really are "in the trenches" working with your teenager. We try to give them the best training in youth ministry so that they can make an impact with your teenagers and their friends for Christ through friendships.
