We are committed to our Church's mission statement: "Called to transform lives for Christ, our Lord and Savior".
To that end, we strive to be:
- a Christ-centered, grace-oriented, incarnational relational ministry to teenagers inside and outside the church.
- a dynamic group of committed adult leaders who have a passion and calling for reaching out to teenagers
- a commitment to work with Para-church groups such as Young Life and Youth for Christ to do effective outreach
- a commitment of working with the Presbyterian community, as well as other denominations, in order to build up the community of Christian witness
- a belief in taking students on adventures that take them out of their "comfort zones"; we do mission trips, work tours, retreats, camps, conferences, backpacking trips, white-water rafting, or overnighters for them to experience God in an "engaging" manner.
- committed to giving students ongoing programs and events done with a "quality of excellence".
- a ministry committed to giving adult leaders the best training possible in how to relate, impact, and understand teenagers.
- a ministry committed to being "family-friendly" and a support for parents.
- a lot of fun and a lot of spiritual growth, we believe that Jesus was the most engaging personality to ever walk this earth!
- a "safe place" for teenagers to be themselves and to get involved with others through student leadership, peer interaction, missions/outreach, and other opportunities.
- spiritual formation and small groups.
- an Adult Committee and full-time director committed to loving God, his church, and teenagers.
- a ministry that loves kids and wants them to see Jesus and begin a Friendship with God.
